Gems Insetting

Only socketed equipment can be insetted with gems and acquire bonus attribute points. Different gems imbue the equipment with different additional points. As equipment can have up to 2 sockets, each piece of equipment can also have up to 2 gems insetted into it.

To inset gems into socketed equipment or remove gems from the equipment, speak with Gem Insetter Dennis and he’ll bring up the Gem window for you. Then put in the socketed equipment you wish to attach the gem into and the gem you wish to use, and cick Inset. If you put in equipment with gems in it, you may also choose to remove them. Please note that the gem will be destroyed during the removal, while the equipment with remain intact, its sockets preserved.
