Brief Walkthrough
1. During the event, go talk to Colbert to learn about what gems will be required in this hour.
2. According to the requirements of Colbert, you'll need to go hunt the monsters in the Suburbs and collect the Gem Splinters that drop.
3. Find the Alchemist to smelt 15 Gem Splinters into a whole Gem.
4. Buy potions from the Chemist Ansel.
5. Take the potions and gems to the Gem Smelter. The gem will be ready in 15 minutes.
6. Give the gem to Colbert and claim a reward from him.
Detailed Walkthrough
The Gem Collector Colbert is calling for heroes to collect gems for him, and there will be nice rewards in return! How would you like to be a world-class gem hunter and make a big fortune?
Colbert tells you that you can get the Gem Splinters by killing the monsters in faction territories. Once you have enough, you can find the Alchemists to smelt the Gem Splinters into a whole Gem.
In addition, you should buy potions from the Chemist Ansel and smelt the Gem in the Gem Smelter to meet Colbert's requirements.
About the Gem Splinters, you can kill monsters in faction territories to get them. However, the chance to get the splinters near the Alchemists is smaller than the chance in other faction territories. You can ask Colbert about which areas hold which Gem Splinters, at any time.
The locations where the Alchemists stay are just the faction territories the Prestige Transporter can teleport you to. So after your Prestige reaches Level 3, you can be teleported to those locations without any trouble!
Since you've learned all the details, it's time for you to start collecting Gem Splinters! If you collect the splinters in the place where the Alchemist stays, you can find him to smelt your gems as soon as you collect enough. But if you want to collect Gem Splinters as quick as possible, you should kill the monsters in other faction territories. In this hour, Colbert is in need of the Advanced Umbra! Now head over to the Necropolis territories!
You've collected 15 Umbra Splinters! Now, find the Necropolis Alchemist and smelt the splinters into a whole Gem.
After you get the whole Gem, go back to Harmondale and buy potions from the Chemist, Ansel. Ansel is selling 3 types of potions: Primary/ Medium/ Advanced Potions. You should buy the one that Colbert has asked for.
After that, you can smelt the Gem in the Gem Smelter, outside the Market. Remember to select required type and level of Gem!
After you put the ingredients into the Gem Smelter, you'll get an Hourglass, which can be used to check when the Gem will be ready. The process requires 15 minutes. When the time is up, the Hourglass will disappear and remind you to go collect the smelted gem.
Finally, give the gem to Colbert and claim a big reward from him!
